Statement of Research Interests
My research focuses on the analysis of mechanisms of access to and treatment for criminal justice and mental health and on identifying the needs of individuals and the barriers to their social and community integration following legal proceedings. The overall objective is to study the processes for developing laws, programs and practices in law and mental health, their practical application and the effects on individuals and their families, in order to identify courses of action and programs.
