Bourse de congrès Gilles Côté
Every year, the Institut national de psychiatrie légale Philippe-Pinel’s Research Centre organizes a contest for the Bourse de congrès Gilles Côté. Mr. Côté was the Director of Research at the Institut for 17 years, from 1998 to January 2017, after having been a researcher here from 1986 to 1997. He was also a professor in the Department of Psychology at the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières for 26 years. This bursary was created to honour this researcher, mentor, professor, and director who was dedicated to his students throughout his long career. Mr. Côté was committed to supporting students over the long term, and the Institut chose to pay homage to his work and mark his recent retirement by supporting the next generation of researchers.
Two bursaries of $1,000 will be available to support the participation of university graduate students at international scientific conferences so they can present the results of their research on a theme that reflects the Institut’s mission.
Stay tuned for the launch of our next contest.
