Council of Nurses
The Council of Nurses’ mandate is to make recommendations to the Board of Directors on five fields that directly touch on the practice of nursing care:
- Overall assessment of the quality of nursing care at the Institut;
- Assessment of the quality of services carried out by clinician nurses in collaboration with the Council of Physicians, Dentists, and Pharmacists (CPDP) and the DSI or RI;
- Rules of nursing care applicable to nurses;
- Rules of medical care and use of medication applicable to clinician nurses;
- The appropriate distribution of care given by nurses.
The Council of Nurses also provides recommendations to the Board of Directors concerning:
- the Institut’s scientific organization;
- the evaluation and upkeep of nurses’ skills.
The Council of Nurses can also be requested to submit advice or recommendations on other files sent by the Director General or Board of Directors.

Le comité exécutif est composé de membres du conseil multidisciplinaire qui sont élus pour agir comme représentants. Ce comité est délégué par les membres pour actualiser le mandat du conseil et être leur porte-parole auprès du conseil d’administration et de la direction générale.
