At the end of this evaluation, the care team will be in a position to answer questions from the Qu\u00e9bec Court, Youth Division, including: Is the youth fit to face their charges? Were they responsible for the crime they committed? What are the appropriate measures that need to be taken to help the adolescent?<\/p>\n<p>When treatment at the Institut is recommended, the adolescent placed under the Youth Protection Act can then undergo specialized treatment for a year or more.
