{"id":7383,"date":"2020-01-10T07:40:43","date_gmt":"2020-01-10T12:40:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pinel.qc.ca\/ups-urgence-psychosociale\/"},"modified":"2026-08-05T15:56:14","modified_gmt":"2026-08-05T19:56:14","slug":"ups-urgence-psychosociale-2","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/pinelrefonte.wp.vortexdev.com\/en\/ups-urgence-psychosociale-2\/","title":{"rendered":"UPS: Urgence psychosociale (psychosocial emergency)"},"content":{"rendered":"<section class=\"wysiwyg block-wysiwyg aligndefault\"\n>\n \n   \n<div class=\"wysiwyg \">\n    <p><strong>For all information:<\/strong><br \/>\nPhone: 514-864-9884<br \/>\nFax: 514-864-9887<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mission<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Criminologists mandated by the <em>Institut national de psychiatrie l\u00e9gale Philippe-Pinel<\/em> will intervene at the Qu\u00e9bec Court, Criminal and Penal Division (C.Q.C.C.P.)\u2014and Montr\u00e9al municipal court in the context of a <em>Tribunal de sant\u00e9 mentale<\/em>\u2014for adult clients who are accused and detained and are believed to have a mental-health disorder.<\/p>\n<p>This intervention takes place following a request from deputy public prosecutors, defence lawyers, or judges.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Type of Services<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This professional consulting service helps the courts in their clinical and legal orientation of accused individuals.
